This website provides information on a proposed planning application by Anglo American for a Port Handling Facility and Overland Conveyor as part of its Woodsmith Project. This follows outline planning permission being granted in 2018 for a similar development. Using the tabs above, you will be able to find further details of the proposed scheme.

In delivering the Woodsmith Project, Anglo American seeks to deliver a new state-of-the-art mine and associated processing and port infrastructure to produce a sustainable fertiliser, which will help to boost food production and support sustainable farming practices.
