Further work is underway to carry out more detailed assessments of the proposed scheme. In particular, these assessments will consider its relationship with the surrounding landscape and Thirsk and Sowerby Conservation Area, and how any resulting impacts can be mitigated through opportunities for planting and screening.

Any comments received will be carefully considered as part of these assessments before the proposals are finalised. Please provide your comments by 31 December 2019.

A planning application will be submitted in early 2020.
